In line with Jean Charles Capon and Oscar Pettiford, Aurélie Verrier offers us today an original and subtle recording made with talented musicians. With in particular my « colleague » Francis Varis whose very musical phrase I like here. I like the version of my composition (unpublished) « Shirley » very relevant and very jazzy. I wish Aurélie Verrier and her musicians the best welcome deserved from the public and the critics

An invitation to go «Green», a painting, naturally, a musical and family painting. Green with first Bach, the translation of a stream from which comes the fundamentals, green as the banks of New Orleans dear to Laferrière, green as a rising tide accommodating all styles with Richard Galliano who offers his contribution, towards urban music, themselves in search of ... green. Green as the wood of Boulogne at the Conservatory where we learned our ranges 30 years ago, green as the writing of Poisvilliers in Eure and Loir where this album sprouted today.
